How to Roof a House | DIY Roofing Tips & Tricks (PABCO Roofing Products & Washington Cedar & Supply)
After getting several massive roof quotes from local roofing contractors, we decided to re-shingle our home ourselves (DIY-style). With the help of parents, friends, and video sponsors, we successfully replaced our house/garage roofs with quality materials and extended the lifespan of both structures by half a century! Moreover, we filmed the entire job from start to finish in hopes our efforts will help other homeowners learn about roofing and save them money. If your house needs a new lid, you’ve come to the right place!

That was a good deed and I love good neighbors. Right on!
It usually works better to start at the bottom and work upwards to tear off old shingles
As a roofer in the Midwest a roof that size 14000 is top to dollar for top work and product
I love watching this video. I now know my husband and son cannot do the roof themselves.
I feel sorry they have to deal with you
Surely you realize that you have a mind for minutiae, but I honestly appreciated it because you really took us through the whole process from a subjective perspective.

Hello from Sea Tac Wa. We are close I think, look I found your video looking for how to make my roof and you just encouraged me to do it myself. Very good!!?
Im in Tacoma too! It is so funny to see this video because I know you from years ago watching you & your mom with your green smoothies…I still make green smoothies because of your movie.
Thank you so much .. we are in Oregon and so many of your tips were so helpful and I am grateful! We are doing it ourselves and all the removal and replacement of some damaged spots are done and underlayment down n I got drip guards back on and this am our shingles arrived and my man just went fishing with the “crew” (his friends?) for the day?!?! Wait…?! WHAT?!?! That’s right… he just left! So I’m going at this alone so your video helped me to know how to start the shingles and do the California-valley thingy! ??wish me luck?awe… no no no scratch that SAY A PRAYER FOR ME? ?as here I go! Thank you again for sharing! God Bless!!!?❤️?
