Uneven, not nailed in the right places, not spaced correctly, he almost falls off trying to be cool and quick, and I really hope the parts he puts on the corners look better.
@ryan orr I’m 20 self employed genersl house maintenance never advertise even through this pandemic in the U.K. work just rolllsss in ive built a carport n shingled the roof but all just hammer n nails !! Took the piss
@akoec roofing of any kind isnt easy, unless ur jus talking bout nailing the shingles down? Humping 80lb bundles even up one story wears ur body down, even setting up ladders, safety planks, stripping n cleaning up old shingles all hard work, n u do it all while having to be on crappy angles. If any of it was easy more ppl would do it cause one things certain n thats that theres good money made
@ryan orr it’s not the roofing that’s hard it’s just labor in general that makes it difficult man I see where you’re coming from tho certain things like that are hard but I’m talking about flat open roofing like shown in the video
If we comment about bad workman’s work is because we know so we are a roofing contractors this guy should know better ,I won’t hire a crew that goes fast for the money ,sorry sir you’re so fire ❗
@BJ & Michelle and there’s always one who says ‘dont mind the haters’ . This work is flimsy. It might be ok in a country where the weather is good but it’s nothing to be proud of
Everyone defending the work might want to read 90% of the comments.. They’re mostly negative. That might tell you something. Hes trying to either show off or teach people how it’s done right?
Most roofers dont waste time making videos. We are too busy getting the roof water tight after stripping an d then making sure shingles offset n overlap correctly. Look at an unopened bundle of shingles n it will show the correct way to lay them n how many nails go in each shingle and where.
@Everything batman collector yea, cheap, shitty and most likely undocumented labor that will pass off and look professional, but will have leaks in a few yrs.
@Everything batman collector a free market is a wonderful thing n jus one of many things that make america a great country, but there are strict guidelines set by shingle companies that if not followed voids any warranty from the company n is why u have to roof a certain way. Doesnt matter if ur the cheapest or most expensive bidder for a job n that doesnt even include satisfying the building code officer to pass his examination to get his seal of approval
@marcialalpirez Oficial tbh you look like youve lost that spark my guy. You know that twinkle in your eye when you learn a profession and respect what you do? Act like its your house my friend. Not just another lick for you to get over with as quickly as possible. I know you can do better, now be better.
Uneven, not nailed in the right places, not spaced correctly, he almost falls off trying to be cool and quick, and I really hope the parts he puts on the corners look better.

No genuine workmanship anymore just a fast plastic world.
Not really sure where the lack of quality is. I had roof done like that and it’s 20 years in and I’m fine.
This guy is Chupocero-man

Plastic tabs on the back will void out insurance claims

Did anyone else notice that the 3rd and forth shingles were not staggered?
@Justin Koldenhof more then a couple
Yes i did, cause i saw nothing for proper starter shingles to create that staggering
I looked again they were staggered if you look at the 2nd line but it just so happened to line up there
@Denis Romero la neta

Looks like some of the nails blow right through the shingle. Is that baaaaaad?

He’s not doing roofing correct, he needs to overlap on out side corners. BUSTED. I’ve done lots of roofs.
They put smaller pieces on the corners and tops
Im a roofer n thats def not how ive ever done it
Most roofers dont waste time making videos. We are too busy getting the roof water tight after stripping an d then making sure shingles offset n overlap correctly. Look at an unopened bundle of shingles n it will show the correct way to lay them n how many nails go in each shingle and where.
I do anywhere from 12- 18 rooks from march til snow flies and sometimes more based on weather n size of the roofs
You do realize it doesn’t just stay like that right? I don’t even know what your talking about
Too bad they all fall off later. I am a roofer 20 yrs. Glad I learned better.
Called free market obviously someone said yup 2 his work and nope to the other guy.
@Everything batman collector yea, cheap, shitty and most likely undocumented labor that will pass off and look professional, but will have leaks in a few yrs.
@Heath T how long were you waiting to use that one ?

That roof ain’t gonna last in a big storm
Mark Miller Thats cap
When he cuts the sides off right on top of the other shingles.
I wouldn’t want him doing my roof. He just trying to get off work early.
