I’ve had this roof for 20 years and no leaks. My other options tar and gravel and single ply didn’t have any insulation, so I didn’t want to pay to heat the sky over my house. My only complaint after watching this video, is Armstrong should send me a “saving the rain forest” t-shirt. LOL
There is a particular silicon-silicone caulk advetised in the early 1980s which can also be used as a filler and as a paint coating and as a sealant and will LAST LIKE A ROCK! It is hard and stiff and rigid and solid and yet tough and duable and malleable and flexible. It resists acids, alkalis, oils, solvents, and virtually all kinds of chemicals. And then it disappeared despite the happy results from tens of thousands of home owners who had used it during that era known as the “DIY ERA”.
