A drone with a nail gun for autonomous roofing
University of Michigan engineers attached a nail gun to an autonomous octocopter and demonstrated that it can successfully tack a shingle onto a roof. Read more:

The project was demonstrated at M-Air, a 10,000 square foot, four-story, netted scientific facility that enables the safe study of autonomy and collaborative robotics in open air.
